Jason Embler - PT, Founder

Jason attended Clemson University for his undergraduate work and followed with a degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of SC. He has worked extensively with athletes of all ranges and post surgical patients. He was a board certified Sports Certified Specialist while also an active lecturer on golf performance and injury prevention.

He played baseball for Clemson University and is currently a world ranked professional long drive golfer. He also enjoys SCUBA diving, basketball, softball, Isshin-Rhy Karate, and is an active member at Newspring Church. Jason lives in Anderson with his 2 rescue Weimaraner dogs.

Leigh-Ann Pursifull - PTA

Leigh-Ann first graduated with a degree in Physical Education from Winthrop University while playing basketball and throwing for the track team.

Post graduation she played professional basketball in Sweden. Upon returning to the Upstate she earned her PTA degree from Greenville Technical College. Leigh-Ann joined Advanced Physical Therapy in 2012 and is excited to use her orthopedic skills to help individuals return to an active lifestyle.

She recently received training in Kinesio Taping®, which is a taping technique to help facilitate the body's natural healing process that benefits an array of musculoskeletal/sports injuries or inflammatory conditions.

She is currently a certified high school basketball official and enjoys participating in sports, triathlons, outdoor activities, and is an active member in her church.

TrVera Williams - MSPT, CSFA, CEAS

TrVera attended Newberry College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree.

After graduating, she continued to pursue education and became certified as an Ergonomic Specialist as well as Functional Capacity specialist. TrVera has worked with pediatric patients in the school setting, geriatric clientele in nursing homes, and orthopedic clientele. Her passion is outpatient orthopedic.

While in medical school she became a licensed minister, then evangelist, and now pastor. She is the pastor and founder of U Turn for Christ Evangelistic Ministries, a non-denominational church in Greenville, SC.

She enjoys writing, reading, hiking, and being with family and friends.

Leigh Kennedy - Office/Marketing Manager, Anderson Office

Leigh received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Clemson University and has built her career over the last 15 years in both healthcare and banking.

She is married with three children, and enjoys volunteering at both her church and her children's schools. In her free time, she loves cheering her kids on as they pursue dance, soccer, football, baseball and basketball.

Missy Waldrop - Office/Billing Administrator, Easley Office

Missy has 19 years experience in front desk operations, insurance and billing for physical therapy and other medical procedures.

She has been with Advanced PT since 2010 as office and billing manager for all 3 facilities. Missy and her husband Robby have been married for 20 years, and have 2 daughters - Taylor and Reagan. She enjoys watching her girls play softball and going on hikes with the family. She is also a big fan of college sports and the Atlanta Braves.
